Now, I think I've waited a good amount of time. AND I've kept my mouth shut for the most part.

But I must say.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, the movie, was an epic failure. Now, I know my friends are going to be mad at me saying all this, but I have reasons! I can not, no matter how hard I try see the movie as just a movie. I've read the book, loved the book, see the book when I watch the movie. I CAN'T help it. It's the way I am, NO MATTER the movie. If there is a book to it, and I have read it, I will compare the two. -shrugs- IT's just who I am.

NOW. Let's start off with WHY I disliked the movie.

Number one is of course the parts they left out. I am going to list them. (I don't believe that ALL of these needed to be in the movie, I'm just listing everything I remember.)

1. Fight scene at the end, after Ron, Hermione and Ginny take lucky potion. (This includes the conversation he has with them before Dumbledore and him leave).
2. Kreacher and Dobby trailing Draco/giving Harry news on Draco.
3. Harry gaining Kreacher, and Number 12 Grimmuald Place.
4. The conversation between Dumbledore and the Dursley's, explaining WHY Harry has to come back to the house after his next school year.
5. Harry KNowing that he is going to the Weasley's.
6. The Change of Ministers of Magic
7. Tonks finding Harry on the train, and Snape retrieving him from Tonks. (Mention of Tonks Patronus changing.)
8. Fluer and Charlie.
9. DUMBLEDORE'S FUNERAL
10. The Guant Memories (Including discussion of Tom killing his MUGGLE father and grandparents)
11. EXPLANATION about Argog.
12. The conversation outside Borgin and Burke's. The trio uses Extendable Ears to listen in on the conversation. Then Hermione goes in and tries to see what Draco was talking about.
13. Snape Penetrating Harry's mind to find out about the book. HArry takes the potion book and hides it, HIMSELF.
14. Harry finds out about Draco's success due to Professor Trelawney getting thrown out of the Room of Requirements, after hearing a shout of excitement.
15. Ron's birthday - where he ACTUALLY eats the love potion, 'cause he thought it was a present to him.
16. The scene where in potions they are supposed to make a remedy for a poison, and Harry goes and gets a Bezoar.
17. Charlie getting TORE THE EFF UP by Fenrir/ The moment Mrs. Weasley finally accepts Fluer.
18. Any and ALL school classes where they are supposed to learn to be doing silent charms.
19. One of the GREATEST lines from the book after Ron gets poisoned - "It's a good thing Ron sat next to you on the train that day.." 'Cause Harry has been saving all of their family.
20. Harry gets taken out by a Bludger in a game where McLaggen has to play Keeper, and keeps screwing everything up. If they win by 100 they win the cup. Harry wakes up in the hospital wing, after the game. He finds out that they won when he gets back to the Common room. This is the first time Ginny and Harry kiss.
21. Detention with Snape.
22. Apparition lessons.
23. Dumbledore and Harry leave from Hogsmeade, and the Dark Mark is already posted AFTER they get back (This is how they find out that Rosmeta has been cursed, thus explaining the necklace).
24. Explanation of what the other Horocruxes could be. (THis is helped by a memory of a house elf, where Tom sees the Slytherin Locket and the Ravenclaw cup).
25. Crabbe and Goyle are girls, due to Polyjuice potion. (this could have been slightly amusing)

That was a lot. Granted, I honestly don't think that ALL These parts need to be in the movie, it's just frustrating where there is that much and probably more left out. When quite a few of those ARE important.

And don't get me wrong, I thought some things were absolutely brilliant. BUt there were other parts that were just BAD. Like Draco crying. Tom is another bad actor apparently. But Rupert and Emma are brilliant. But you know. -shrugs-

I don't know, I just really wanted to see how many things were left out. If that's proof to any book fan why compared to the book the movie is a fail, then I suppose I've done what I've set out to prove.

I'm not trying to piss anyone off. Like I said, some parts were BRILLIANT. But most just...weren't good.
